Wake Skate Road Trippin’ With Matt Hooker Part IV

Water |

When Teva wake skate athlete, Matt Hooker hit us up to say that he was road tripping from Portland to Orlando in search of secret spots, cable parks and to hang with fellow wakeskater friends our immediate reaction was, “Let’s see some photos!” Matt’s been on the road for a little over three weeks now so here’s a little visual diary of his trip with captions in his own words. You can follow Matt’s feed on Instagram at @matthooker.

When you're living in a van you see a lot of cool stuff to have some fun. This was a great way to stretch our legs while we were waiting on everyone.
This spot was on the Blanco river in Texas at a camp ground we stayed at for a few days. There were spots just like this one all over the place here.
First laundry day on the Blanco river after being gone for a month.
After the wakeskate tour stop at the Texas ski ranch we continued winching up to Dallas. The first spot we hit another wakeskate team was already there doing the same kind of tour as us.
This was a spot I ollied down in Dallas in a community. I only got a few tries at this before some old people jumped out of their car and started yelling at us.
