Wake Skate Road Trippin’ With Matt Hooker Part II

Water |

When Teva wake skate athlete, Matt Hooker hit us up to say that he was road tripping from Portland to Orlando in search of secret spots, cable parks and to hang with fellow wakeskater friends our immediate reaction was, “Let’s see some photos!” Matt’s been on the road for a little over two weeks now so here’s a little visual diary of his trip with captions in his own words. You can follow Matt’s feed on Instagram at @matthooker.

We've been cruising down the coast of California for about three days stopping whenever we can to wakeskate. Took a little break from driving in Santa Cruz. We chilled on top of this cliff and watched the surf. This was one of the coolest spots I've been to.
This is the view from one of the camp spots along the trip. A parking lot right by the Golden Gate bridge.
Skate break in San Fran at 3rd and Army. Really fun spot to skate!
California has been pretty dry for this time of year.
Fun little log jam we hit all day in Nor Cal. This was at a camp site on a river out buddy Leif showed us.
