I’ve spent a lot of time paddling in Squamish throughout the summer. A couple weeks ago we chartered a last-minute flight to see some of the incredible sections of whitewater we had only experienced at ground level.
Dipper Creek flows through one of the deepest canyons I have ever paddled in British Columbia into the Squamish River. It was by far the most demanding run I’ve done there, with hectic portages and tall waterfalls.
This waterfall is Double Dip. It drops around 45 feet. I snapped this shot right before I ran it and the 65-foot Big Dipper waterfall around the corner.
