There's something absolutely intoxicating about a good dawn patrol. The urge to be the first one in the water is powerful enough to get many a surfer out of bed before sunrise. Being on the water as the sun crests over the horizon is almost perfect serenity. Getting to the surf spot, however, is anything but serene. Dark, treacherous trails stand between access roads and beaches, and common is the surfer who has fallen victim to an unseen rock, branch or pothole.

Envisioned and developed by two lifelong adventure surfers who had suffered through this experience one too many times, illūm was built to solve a very fundamental problem. Anyone who spends time in the outdoors knows that darkness is a constant issue and restriction. It affects a surfer on dawn patrol, a river guide waking up to make coffee or just someone taking out the trash after dinner. Teva Presents: Dream Result is the story of a group of friends who have undertaken a journey to explore the limits of possibility. The film includes the World Record Waterfall Descent of 186 ft Palouse Falls, expeditions into the wilderness of Northern Canada, big air freestyle on the flooded rivers of Quebec, and a quest for waterfalls deep in the hearts of Chile and Scandinavia. Driven through the passions of nine of the sports top athletes and lifelong colleagues, they experience a year in the life of chasing their Dream Result.

 Here’s a little on Teva to get the creative mojo flowing: Teva makes shoes for people who are passionate about leading an adventurous life, whether it’s in the woods or in the city, and we’ve been at it for over 25 years. In the beginning the name Teva was chosen because of its meaning in Hebrew, nature. So, for the past quarter century we’ve been dedicated to performance, comfort and the environment in which we play but especially committed to our fellow adventurers better known to us as the Tribe.
